Before we were 3.....

Ok so I wanted to get some old pictures on here since I started my blog after all these fun things happened to us.
Here's is a little back story of Cole and I.  We met on a LDS dating website.  I lived in Houston at the time so all we could do is talk and get to know each other.  Which was a very good thing.  We had both been in serious relationships and needed someone to share our wounds with.  So we became friends and then grew to like each other more than friends.  I flew out to Utah to meet him at the end of March, I know a big no no. It was my birthday and he wanted to take me to the Easter Jeep Safari.  The second I stepped off that escalator and ran into his arms I knew this was something.  You could tell he felt the same way.  I didn't feel out of place, I felt like I was home.  He was the man I was going to marry and raise a family with.  Of course we didn't tell one another this, no need in scaring him off .  So we had a wonderful 2 weeks getting to know each other and ALL his family.  Yes I met his entire family and I loved them.  I hope they felt the same way:).  I got back on the plane with tears in my eyes and a promise I would be back.  In May my prayers were answered.  I moved to Woodland and lived I lived in his parents house, in his old room.  His dad and him left to go work in North Dakota, so it was just his mom and I.  It was so nice to be able to hang out with his family.  We really got to bond.  Memorial weekend we (Trudy and I) drove to ND for a visit.  I had missed Cole so much.  It was a great reunion.  That weekend he proposed and we had about a month to get a wedding together.  We were married on July 3 and that was that.  That ceremony was beautiful! Just how I had always dreamed it would be.  Cole and I might have rushed our relationship, but we are all the better for it.  There is not one day that goes by that I don't thank my Father in Heaven for sending Cole to me.  A few weeks later we got the best/scariest news....we were going to be PARENTS!! Yikes. haha After the initial shock wore off we got very excited and started counting down the days until our little gift would arrive.  On April 7 the following year our son, Finn Fitzgerald, was born.  Now when I look at Cole I not only see my loving husband, I see a very devoted father.  Here are some of my favorite pictures from when Cole and I were "dating"
Moab was so much fun. I had never experienced anything like that before.  I even got to drive for a bit!! :p

Going to the Salt Lake Temple grounds so a nice evening.  It is so beautiful and peaceful there.
A bitter sweet day.  Grandpa Ftzgerald's funeral.  I feel so blessed I was able to meet him before he passed.
                                                           We are ENGAGED!!
I loved out photo shoot.  Thanks Ali Barr!

                                                                A wonderful day!
Driving back to North Dakota was so much fun!
